No more dorm for this guy - like Samantha, Nic now calls West Philly home (about a mile away from her). It was an early morning move today into a new place for Nicolas where he’ll be starting year three at Drexel sharing a new home with some friends.
PS - the Gladiator once again earned its keep - funny, when I got it a certain someone said “What are you going to haul with that?” - right, Damari?

First day of school pics take 1 - a bit unconventional, but I told the kids I want 1st day pics regardless of age!
Anthony (or the infamous Mr. F) greeting kindergartners on his day 1 as the official SPARK teacher at Penn Valley (no more long-term subbing!). Also worth a mention - congrats to him on earning his MBA as well. Now on to inspire future scientists and be that teacher that the kids learn from and love - have a great school year!
Samantha who on her day 1 started year 2 of classes at UPenn as she continues on with her PhD journey. She's in a permanent lab now and is sorting out thesis ideas, and calls West Philadelphia home these days. And if that doesn't keep her busy enough, she is an entrepreneur partnering with her roommate in "Attic Arcana" (link below), a business that features hand-made dice (DnD style), jewelry and candles - included is a photo of her booth from the PA Renaissance Faire recently. It's been great to have her closer to home (don't miss those marathon drives to visit her at CMU!). Continue to follow your dreams Sam!
Nic started year 3 on his day 1 after ending his International Tax Co-op internship last week. He’s in a new place with his buddies and is just a short bike ride away from campus not too far from Samantha in West Philly. So glad he’s close by and I’m looking forward to meeting him after work as the 76ers basketball season begins soon, and also looking forward to your acapella performances as well. Have a great school year Nic - you continue to make us proud!
