Another year ends, and another attempt begins to chronicle the family activities on a web page. Hopefully this gives you a good idea of what we've been up to over the past year - it's certainly been busy. Sure, it may not capture everything, and certainly there are good times and not-so-good times and struggles that are missing, but a big part of putting this together is an exercise in gratefulness, for family, friends, and all of these cherished memories. Hope you enjoy reviewing it all. - Eddie

Blessed to be together to celebrate Christmas together!
Blessed to watch Samantha sing once again at the Christmas Concert with her friends in the Cathedral Basilica Choir. What a great way to prepare fo Christmas!
FIXME
Samantha showed off her tap-dancing talents dancing at the Downstage Center Dance Studio's "Happy Birthday Mrs. Claus" Christmas recital.
Troop 4 Scouts braved the cold and blustery weather on Saturday, December 6, 2025, when they visited New York City for an "Urban Hike". The list of attractions visited was long, including the Staten Island Ferry passing by the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor, Castle Clinton in Battery Park, Bowling Green, the Charging Bull statue, Federal Hall, Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange, Trinity Church, Brookfield Place, the World Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial Pools, the Oculus, City Hall, Chinatown, Little Italy, NYU and Washington Square Park, Little Island, the High Line, the Vessel in Hudson Yards, midtown passing by Madison Square Garden, the Empire State building and Macy's Herald Square, Times Square and Broadway, Rockefeller Center and the Christmas Tree, the Saks Fifth Avenue light show, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Grand Central Station, ending with a ride on the number 5 subway back to Bowling Green and the ferry. If that sounds like a lot, it's because it was - 15.6 miles of hiking to get all those stops in. It was a great day of sightseeing, hiking, and fellowship!
Eddie worked from NYC for a day in December to attend a friend's retirement party, and was able to connect with Nicolas for a night out and dinner at Katz's Deli. Not pictured were the churros picked up for dessert!
Eddie worked with his brother Knights to distribute food baskets at Christmas for those at need with the Knights of Columbus at Holy Trinity Church.
Another beautiful way to get into the holiday spirit at the PCC Christmas Concert.
Beautiful night for dinner at DanDan, a stroll around Christmas Village and always a great time for a musical!
Eddie worked with his brother Knights to distribute food baskets for Thanksgiving for those at need with the Knights of Columbus at Holy Trinity Church.
Grateful to be blessed with everyone’s company once again for a Happy Thanksgiving celebration!
Eddie and Samantha finally made it to a 76ers game!
Eddie and Samantha went back in time and enjoyed Back to the Future The Musical in Philly.
Troop 4 Scouts were blessed with the opportunity to tour the U.S. Naval Academy where we met up with a Sean, a midshipman who showed us around and shared the experience cadets enjoy while studying at the Academy. Afterwards it was off to Navy Football Scout Day 2025 where we enjoyed watching Navy beat Southern Florida with excitement right up until the end of the game. We also were able to camp with other Scouts at the Elks Camporee nearby where we were able to enjoy some fun and fellowship. God bless the cadets at the Naval Academy (where they gave us a warm Scout welcome), and God Bless all who serve!
Bravo, Pennsbury Community Chorus, along with Damari, Anthony and Macy - another great performance at today's LMT Veterans Day Parade ceremony!
Boy Scout Troop 4 and and Cub Scout Pack 4 teamed up on November 8, 2025 to honor our veterans at the Lower Makefield Township (LMT) Veterans Day Parade. Billy and Johnny did a great job representing Troop 4 and Pack 4 by marching in the parade while waving to the many spectators and giving out lots of candy. Great job, boys! And thanks to our veterans for their service!
As an official Pennsylvanian Mikey voted here for the first time.
Some pics of Nicolas and Maggie dressed up for a formal at Maggie's school, and some photos from Nic's birthday.
Damari's wish for her birthday in terms of show tickets were for Mamma Mia, so it's was off to Broadway in NYC for the show followed by dinner at Katz's Deli of course!
It was a great night for a hike as we travelled the Delaware Canal and the levee alongside Williamson Park and back home to Holy Trinity Church. The boys of Troop 4 learned about the origins and functions of the canal and tow path as well as the levee, and did a good turn by policing for trash along the route. We even visited the tree we planted together in Williamson Park a few weeks ago. Another great Troop event with our Scouts performing cheerful service while enjoying the fellowship. Great job, boys!
During Damari's birthday week we went to Philly to see a musical of course - Kimberly Akimbo.
Troop 4 Scouts enjoyed a weekend camping trip together at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation in Schuykill Haven, PA suring the weekend of October 17-19, 2025. We hiked from the campsite on a trail that leads directly to a section of the Appalachian Trail (aka the "AT"), where we also hiked and enjoyed lunch on the trail. We enjoyed a breakfast with "bulls-eyes" and bacon, and some pasta for dinner before enjoying a campfire and some fellowship. We also squoze in a quick trip to Cabelas in Hamburg for the boys to enjoy a visit to the retail wonder of the world when it comes to the outdoors. Weather wize we were fortunate with just a bit of rain during a cold Friday night (it got down to 40 degrees while we tent camped), but Saturday evening was a bit milder, and both nights made for great sleeping weather. The boys did a great job on the hike and in the campsite, and as always showed great Scout Spirit!
We visited the Basilica Cathedral in Philly for a choral celebration for the 25th anniversary celebration of the canonization of Saint Katherine Drexel - and the opportunity to watch Samantha sing once again in the choir!
Cheerful Service! Troop 4 worked hard today towards making Morrisville more beautiful with the Morrisville Environmental Advisory Council , the Guardian Angels Foundation and Mayor Wallace by planting new trees in Williamson Park as well as along Hamilton Blvd. We had great weather and enjoyed each other’s company while contributing to this project today. Thanks to those who hosted and provided us the opportunity to serve!
Samantha and Eddie traveled in September 2025 to France for a pilgrimage and roadtrip in France, including visits to Lourdes, the Normandy Region, Lisieux and Paris.
Damari and Nicolas had a late night walk like they used to have during Covid. Glad they enjoyed on such a beautiful night with such a bright full moon.
In August, it was back to school for Damari, Anthony and Macy as they reported for duty at their various places of employment with the Pennsbury School District.
Visiting the banks of the Neshaminy Creek, Troop 4 was blessed with a beautiful day for hiking, fishing, food and fellowship! Each boy has at least one catch and were enthusiastically fishing in the creek for hours. Enjoying the outdoors in the company of our fellow Scouts and having fun is what Scouting is all about!
Visited St. Leo the Great parish out in Lancaster, PA to watch Samantha and her friends with the Archdiocesan and Cathedral Choirs from the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul as they visit from Philadelphia to sing in a summer concert as they prepare for a trip to Mexico City in the fall where they will take part in a pilgrimage and will sing as well. It was a beautiful and very spiritual concert tonight.
We were blessed to have everyone join us on an MSC cruise from NYC to the Florida and Bahamas.
Pennsbury Drama attended the International Thespian Festival at the University of Indiana in Bloomington, and as usual it did not disappoint! From the moment they arrived, the energy was electric. With so many attendees this year, opening ceremonies were held in their basketball arena, and the performances and workshops were incredible.
After dropping Mikey off for a visit to Puerto Rico, Eddie and Damari traveled to Florida and drove down the Keys and visited Key West, Florida.
So proud of Nicolas, and the celebrations spanned multiple days for the various commencement ceremonies. The first, the Drexel Honors Medallion Ceremony as Nicolas graduated with Honors from Drexel University's Pennoni Honors College. Commencement ceremony two was the Drexel Univeristy Lebow School of Business where Nicolas graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. And to wrap up the ceremonies required a visit to Citizens Bank Park for the Drexel Graduation Ceremony on the Phillies ballpark.
Happy to enjoy the great PHS Alum and friend Alain Brutus in his Broadway debut in Aladdin. What amazing talent! What an unforgettable moment and a special night seeing Aladdin with Alain in the ensemble. The show was pure magic, and we couldn’t be prouder to know this incredible, humble and kind young man. Broadway dreams do come true. And, we got a backstage tour afterwards as well!
Troop 4 Scouts along with our friends at Cub Scout Pack 4 held a joint recruitment event on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Bridge Street Mini-Golf. It was a great evening of fun and fellowship, and Pack 4 was able to recruit 2 new Scouts! Many thanks to Bridge Street Golf for hosting our event!
Troop 4 Scouts enjoyed a visit to the sweetest place on earth - Hershey Chocolate World and HersheyPark, on the weekend of May 30 - June 1, 2025. We camped we visited Bashore Scout Reservation in nearby Jonestown, PA. Lots of adventures on this trip - a deer bumping our car, a torrential rainstorm, and a slow leak in on of our tires made the trip interesting for sure. Luckily the ranger at Bashore let us occupy the summer camp tents already set up for summer camp, eliminating the need to set up camp and get soaked on Friday night, which also kept us off the ground and dry. Despite some challenges, our Scout spirit allowed us to overcome the adversity to enjoy a great weekend together!
Honoring those who sacrificed all for us at the Morrisville Memorial Day Parade with our friends in Cub Scout Pack 4. Great day for a parade and happy to see so many smiling faces along the parade route!
Do a Good Turn Daily! The Cub Scouts from Holy Trinity Pack 4 and Boy Scouts from Troop 4 spent this morning performing cheerful service at a Sprng Cleanup event at Holy Trinity Cemetery. In addition to the cleanup we also placed some flags in honor of Memorial Day as well. And of course, a Scout is Reverent, so we all said a prayer together for those we remember at the cemetery. Many hands made light work, and a big thanks goes out to the Scouts and their families who volunteered!
Went to see Father Mike on his Parables tour in Philly. I would have never imagined that a priest could go on tour and sell out venues, but there's nothing ordinary about Father Mike and how he spreads his spiritual message. Eddie, Samantha and Aleks were blessed to attend.
Great afternoon of music featuring Damari, Samantha, Anthony and Macy at the Pennsbury Community Choir’s Spring Concert. Added bonus was seeing James D. Moyer back on the Keller Hall stage conducting the alumni choir. Lots of talent on hand today for sure!
It's been a while since I've been to a Scouting award dinner, and this year's return was extra special as we were able to celebrate Troop 4 Assistant Scoutmaster Anthony as the recipient of the "Big Hand Award" to recognize his oustanding efforts while serving as a new adult leader, and also celebrating my good friend Ken's well-deserved "Lifetime Achievement Award" for all his outstanding and extra efforts with Pack 10, Troop 30, and throughout the district with the Eagle Scout program. It was great to catch up with old friends and enjoy lots of Scout Spirit!
And to think, at one point 91 was considered old! Feliz Cumpleanos, Mikey!
In his last musical performance as a Senior at Drexel, Nicolas took on the role of Bobby Strong in Urinetown The Musical at Drexel University. Another outstanding performance for sure!
Cheerful Service! Troop 4 is running the “Jousting Relay” today at the 2025 Cubarama event. Nothing like a day in the sun helping the younger Scouts have fun!
Pennsbury Drama's Spring Musical "Tuck Everlasting" was a great success, and Damari was able to include a workshop with Pennsbury Drama alum Bob Lenzi who originated a role in the show on Broadway.
In what’s become an annual ritual I found myself running out of work late to get to “The Big Sing” just on time. Lost count of how many years in a row this is but I still enjoy it as much as the first time. Damari, Anthony, Macy, and Samantha all performing with the Pennsbury Community Choir. Bravo to the talented Pennsbury Choral teachers and students!
Troop 4 Scouts enjoyed their first camping trip together as a Troop at Quail Hill Scout Reservation during the weekend of April 26-28, 2025. We hiked to and around Kiely Pond, and visited the island which was used at one point as an Order of the Arrow ceremonial area. We also brushed up on our outdoor skills, including building an axe yard where the boys in attendance all earned their Totin' Chip. We also cooked our meals, learned how to clean up at a campsite, and enjoyed a great campfire program planned by the boys. We did have some rain Saturday, and experienced a chill in the evening into Sunday morning, but nothing could stop the boys from achieving and showing great Scout Spirit!
Damari and Nicolas enjoyed a performance in Delaware by one of Damari's favorite performers, Sutton Foster.
Enjoyed Easter Sunday Mass at the Basilica Cathedral and listened to Samantha and the choir's beautiful performance.
The gang was all together again as we went to dinner and celebrated Anthony's 29th birthday with some cake. Still trying to figure out how 29 years went by so quickly - but extremely proud of the son, brother, teacher, and young man he's become!
Damari enjoyed a fantastic day in New Hope, presenting two of Pennsbury Drama's student-directed plays! It's always amazing to witness the students’ talent and professionalism. Their hard work paid off, earning them several awards and well-deserved recognition for their performances!

We were watching the news and caught coverage of Samantha singing at the Basilica Cathedral in Philly for Palm Sunday Mass. Quick clip of the news coverage, and another quick video from the live stream as well.

Damari had a great day with her theatre family advocating for theatre in our schools at our state capitol. The student leadership proudly received a special proclamation from the Senate, in honor of the PHS Drama Troupe's 70th year. They were recognized in both the PA House and the PA Senate floors. Thankful for our local politicians who continue to support theatre in our schools. This trip would not be complete without a stop at Burger Yum!

Cheerful Service! Troop 4 Scouts volunteered to assist with deliveries for the Holy Trinity Easter Lily Project. Holy Trinity CYO sponsors a tradition of delivering Easter lilies to parishioners who have lost loved ones during the past church year. Presenting these beautiful flowers to fellow parish members lets them know that their Holy Trinity family remembers their loss and reminds them that their loved one is with our Lord in everlasting life. It was a great opportunity for the boys to earn service hours towards rank advancement in a very thoughtful and meaningful way.

Attended Drexel University’s Musical Theatre Showcase where Nicolas performed “Maria” from “West Side Story” (sorry, video issues only allowed me to capture the last half of the song). Blessed to continue to watch Nic’s love for performing, and can’t wait for his upcoming show as he joins the cast of Urinetown at Drexel in May.
Damari was excited to serve as Assistant Director for this years' production of "The Addams Family" musical at Pennsbury High School. The music was great, the show was funny and heartwarming and the kids - well they are just so talented.
Spent an afternoon helping out at the Holy Trinity Pack 4 Pinewood Derby and realized how old I am since it was way back in 2009 that we attended our first Pinewood with Anthony and Nicolas at Pack 10 (some throwback pics included). Always a fun day watching the kids enjoy the races!
Thanks for those who reached after my Mom passed away peacefully in hospice after a rough couple of weeks health-wise. As much of a fighter as she’s been over the years while tackling her health issues, this time there were just too many obstacles for her to overcome. She lived her life loving her family with everything she had, especially once she became a Grandma to both my kids as well as my brother’s daughter. I’m including a small number of photos that invoke such great memories with her. Christmas was always special to her. Going back to when my brother and I were young she always made sure we were more than happy with Santa’s visit, and that carried through to her grandkids as well. Her other love was Halloween with the kids, and there are just so many memories of great costumes and trick-or-treating with them. One of the things she enjoyed (and thrived at) was cooking, and nothing made her happier than making a great meal for everyone, along with watching them enjoy. Some of her specialties, especially lasagna, eggplant parm, and her infamous meatballs (that no one including me to this day can ever replicate) were enjoyed by not only our family, but while growing up her food was often shared with me and my brother’s friends who would always enjoy when she was feeding anyone that came by our house. She was resilient through adversity in her life, and was always there to listen or give advice, and there’s so much that she taught me through life that helped me navigate through as a son and father. I know that she is at peace now and will miss her tremendously. She gave us all so much love and great memories that she’ll always be with us. Again, thanks to those of you who reached out, and I appreciate all the warm thoughts and prayers..
Imagine OUR suprise reading the 2025 International Thespian Guide and finding a picture from the Theatre Educators Conference Damari attended recently in Minneapolis. That was such a fun time with some pretty awesome people! Great memories!
